Puget Sound’s most amazing beachfront vacation rental, this spacious contemporary 4 bedroom/3 bath vacation home with two adjacent cabins is sited on 155' of "sugar sand" no-bank waterfront facing west on South Whidbey Island. There are many beautiful vacation homes on Whidbey Island; we can uniquely offer a walk-out sandy beach with covered beach shelter, year-round sunsets over the complete Olympic mountain range, brand new luxury bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious grounds with large lawn and gardens, and a stunning and private 1 ½ acre wooded setting. A $500,000 architectural remodel was completed in August 2008. Fine woodworking is showcased throughout the Beachfront House. Inspired by the Inn at Langley and Sun Mountain Lodge, tile artisans used Pratt and Larson glass and porcelain tile to create masterpiece contemporary bathrooms. Grohe fixtures, art glass shelving, and superb lighting throughout contribute to the relaxed but sophisticated ambience. The Beachfront House has 3000 sq ft of interior luxury living, yet designed to be totally accommodating to children of all ages. Wonderful for a romantic getaway for two couples, it is also ideal for an extended family gatherings of up to 14 people. Our two updated cabins just steps away combine to provide a total of 6 bedrooms and 4200 sq ft. Every bedroom has stunning beach, mountain, and water views. Beachfront House amenities include outdoor Hotsprings jetted hot spa, steam shower, 2 indoor soaking tubs, heated bathroom floors, towel warmers, three gas fireplaces, teak trestle style dining set seating 10, large open-plan kitchen with bar seating, quality teak outdoor furniture, double laundry, large stainless steel gas barbecue, oak and cork flooring, antique Persian carpets, entertainment size decks, a large covered porch adjacent to the hot tub, and an atrium sun room. King beds in 2 master bedrooms offer fine 800 thread count Egyptian cotton linens and down duvets. Home entertainment includes 46” widescreen HDTV with surround sound, a second large HDTV system in living room, multi-room stereo with large CD collection, DVD/VCR and satellite service, and broadband internet service. Our wide selection of games and books includes Scrabble, Cribbage, Risk, Monopoly, a wide variety of reference books, Lonely Planet travel books, classic and current novels, and a large selection of children’s books. Two beautiful built-in Lyptus desks offer fast broadband connections and phones for work or play. Watch cruiseships and freighters ply Admiralty Inlet as the sun sets behind the Olympic Mountains. View sunsets from either your deck, or walk down the concrete path to a sandy beach of stunning natural beauty. A concrete path with artisan steel handrails winds down the hillside (35 steps) to a huge lawn with the beach just beyond. An architecturally designed curved roof beach shelter covers a picnic table next to a barbecue pit, right on the beach. Ours is a perfect setting for families or groups, with the lawn sized to accommodate an official volleyball court. Badminton, croquet, bocce ball, kites, trikes, bikes, footballs, baseball equipment, soccer balls, and sand toys are all provided for your fun and enjoyment. The kids will love exploring the lagoon next door, creating beach forts, log hopping, finding shells and beach glass, digging for geoducks, and building sand castles. This is Pacific Northwest living at its best! The Beach Cabin is adjacent to the lawn, just set back from the water's edge. It contains a queen bedroom with a luxurious Westin Heavenly Bed, fine linens and a down comforter. There is another fully stocked kitchen with new Bosch dishwasher, tile and Corian countertops, a wood stove, a dining area, TV/VCR/DVD with Dish satellite service, and comfortable but sophisticated furniture and artwork. The Eagles Nest Cabin is closest to the main house. It has its own spectacular view of the beach, the water, and the mountains, a TV/DVD, coffeemaker, 3/4 bath, and comfortable sleeping quarters with new double mattress set in a beautiful antique cherry bed. A lighted concrete path and phone intercom system connects the 3 structures, allowing both privacy and togetherness at your option. Wildlife and birdlife abound on our 1 1/2 acres of paradise. Bald eagles and piliated woodpeckers nest nearby, foxes, owls, otter, sea lions, seals, and whales all visited last season. Walk the beach for miles in both directions and experience the undeveloped natural beauty of Puget Sound. Cast for salmon from the beach- our beach is the premier spot on the Island to shore fish for salmon, cutthroat, and steelhead. Build castles on the spectacular sandy beach. Cook an outdoor feast in the beachfront barbecue pit and celebrate the sunset with your friends at the covered picnic table, right on the beach. An easy stroll to the south are the towering firs and old growth hiking trails of South Whidbey State Park. periods): $4900/week, $725/night (2 night minimum), $3500/week. 3rd night 50% OR 4th night free. (minimum 3 night stay) Off-peak special- book the House and Cabins for 2 nights and get the third night for ½ price! 50% deposit required at time of reservation. Remaining fees are due two weeks before arrival including $500 refundable security deposit. Security deposit will be returned if guests leave the house picked up, undamaged and the kitchen cleaned. All funds will be refunded if written notice of cancellation is received 60 days or more before the beginning of your reservation dates. $300 of your deposit will be refunded if written cancellation of your reservation is received 30 days or more prior to the beginning of your stay. No refunds will be given when written notice of cancellation is received less than 30 days before the beginning of your stay. Other Information:
