| The
Jewelers Bench of Whidbey Island, has returned to it's traditional format
of a full-view work area in the front of the shop. Now visitors to the
showroom are able to watch in fascination as professional jewelers perform
precision work before their eyes!
Carrie Saunders,
one of the shop's top-notched veteran jewelers is keeping very busy with
the ever-increasing customer demands...While the shop is returning to it's
roots, it's anticipated that many new items will be flowing in daily."
Jimi O'Neill,
a well-known and respected craftsman in his own right, is most noted for
his unique creative ability. His Navajo style silverwork, concho belts,
bracelets, and other exquisite pieces are displayed each day at Jewelers
Bench. Many celebrities, such as the late Jim Morrison, of the now immortal
60's & 70's rock group The Doors, greatly admired O'Neill's work. Morrison
regularly donned one of Jimi's stunning concho belts, while other celebrities
have preferred to choose from his collection of beautifully styled custom
silver bracelets. A seasoned worker in traditional Navajo leather and metal,
Jimi's extraordinary talent for creating one-of-a-kind fine jewelry has
been well established. Not only are his pieces certain to be a treasured
addition to any collection, but they are works of art that would be an
admired and appreciated gift for anyone!
